Challenged to create a furniture piece for a design competition. Originality is key for the design and all construction documentation with dimensions and notes were to be included. End result was to do a full scale model, perspective view, joinery detail, and dimensions.

Lines have psychological effects in design. They help lead your eye around the composition of a design or piece and give character and definition. Vertical lines show firmness, stability, and strength. As I began to develop my chair I wanted it to appear simple. To be effortless for the eye to view.
